This melts my heart.
Every once in a while, I’ll receive pictures of my recipes made by you! I couldn’t be more chuffed! Connecting with people from all over the world really blows my mind. Food is a universal language.
And lately, you’ve been baking bread.
I thought I’d share some of your beautiful photos here on the blog.

Baked By Dave Neal, USA
Ah! That adorable baby!
Also, how about these loaves baked by dad? Dave made my Sourdough Noir. He uses a banneton basket to achieve those floured lines.
Baked By Samantha Daniel, USA
Samantha made my Traditional Sourdough. After troubleshooting, we determined her initial loaves lacked oven spring due to a lengthy second rise. She simply cut the time in half and produced these beauties! Not pictured is the coveted ‘crumb shot’ however I was told the inside was incredibly fluffy.
I want to rip off a chunk and dunk in some soup…
Baked By Lacey Cole, USA
OK. Can we please discuss how pretty those swirls are? Teach me please.
Baked By Paul Dodds, Scotland
One of my favorite bread recipes on the blog: Light Brioche Hamburger Buns. What a beautiful bake. Paul is a photographer too…
Baked By Bronwyn Smith, Australia
This is my Country Raisin Loaf adapted with 100% whole wheat flour. Check out that incredible rise & crumb! It’s very difficult to get good oven spring with whole grain flour, let alone using it exclusively. Well done.
Baked By Kathy Price, New York
What a cute duo! I love the slashing on these loaves, perfectly bloomed.
Baked By Colleen O’Neil, New Hampshire
I’ll never forget when I opened up this pic. I was drinking my morning coffee with a huge smile on my face. I can just tell how fluffy that crumb is.
Baked By Dillon, New York
My mini baker.
He insisted on posing with my latest loaf, a 48+ hour fridge proof (50/50 whole wheat and bread flour). I’m still working out the details on this one.
Stay tuned.

This is the BEST Emilie! And it’s all about sharing the bread love. Beautiful. That last loaf by Dillon – that is an eye popper for sure! Look at the blistering and the oven spring! Holy cow! I’d be a part of your lovely community! Thank you! xo

Bread love! What a wonderful compliment. You must be on cloud nine. There can be no higher praise than for your readers to make something of yours and then take the time to send pix to you. Brava!

Pam Green says
What a compliment to your recipes! This breads all look beautiful and carefully prepared by loving hands. I am a willing participant in your new page idea on your blog!
Emilie says
Thank you Pam! I love getting emails with pictures. It certainly is a compliment and keeps me going.
I’m glad you’d like to join the community! I have a feeling you’ll like it. I’ll post more details soon, but basically, I’m creating a page where people can post a photo of a finished dish with a link back to the actual recipe on their blog. It will be a fun and easy way to share recipes and meet new people.
Laura Wingfield says
I might enjoy that, I usually don’t share recipes if I have to write them out, I’m a good sharer of links I like etc. but most of my Mom’s I have on PDFs of scanned recipe cards so hate to have to rewrite them if I can avoid it. Why yes, I can be lazy.
Emilie says
Hi Laura! Oh, me too. Links are the easiest and sometimes, I’ll even take a picture of a recipe (with ingredients) on my phone and then send it to someone. Here on the blog, the community would share just a picture of a finished dish with a link to the actual recipe. :)
ruby88 says
Wow I love seeing how you’ve inspired others to bake bread. I’m not quite there yet, but I’m dreaming about it :) I love Dillon’s giant loaf!
Please tell us more about your community gathering. It sounds like fun!

A lovely idea! And what a wonderful collection of baked goods!
Emilie says
Thank you Lizzy! It was a beautiful to see all of these loaves, each made with their own unique style. Who knew a mixture of flour and could vary so much? It’s the little things or perhaps, ‘the good things’ in life. Have a great weekend ;)
